A Reminder of what you can put in your shoebox - for-

    • Playing - ball, skipping rope, small games, cards, dominoes, harmonicas/recorders, cars, small toys, Cuddly toy
    • Washing - soap, toothbrush, flannel, sponge
    • Writing - pens, pencils, sharpener, notebook, colouring book, puzzle book
    • Wearing – hat, gloves, scarf, socks, hair accessories, jewellery (Items need to be new or in good/as new condition)

The introduction of weekly kerbside food waste collections from October 2025 has been agreed by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council's Cabinet, meeting tonight (Tuesday 30 July 2024).  The new weekly food waste collection service will allow residents to take more out of their grey bin while Hampshire County Council progresses plans for new and better waste sorting facilities so that more can go in green recycling bins.  Read More ...

Melissa Bryers Brings Community Together For Pink Place Fundraising.  A huge thanks to Melissa Bryers (2nd from right) who organised a fabulous fundraising event attended by 80 of her family, friends and colleagues from Centerprise International Ltd, all dressed in pink. The evening included plenty of fun and laughter, with bingo and a raffle, and Melissa managed to raise an amazing £2522.10.
