Rotary Christmas Shoebox Appeal
We will be in Festival Place on
Saturday 7th September
Handing out shoeboxes ready for you to fill with presents for deprived children
A Reminder of what you can put in your shoebox – for-
- Playing – ball, skipping rope, small games, cards, dominoes, harmonicas/recorders, cars, small toys, Cuddly toy
- Washing – soap, toothbrush, flannel, sponge
- Writing – pens, pencils, sharpener, notebook, colouring book, puzzle book
- Wearing – hat, gloves, scarf, socks, hair accessories, jewellery (Items need to be new or in good/as new condition)
PLEASE NO – liquids, no war toys or books, batteries operated items, sharp items, broken items, food or sweets. NO large toys, clothes or shoes. Nothing religious, political or racial
Fill a box for either:-
Boys or Girls, ages 1-3, 4-7, 8-11 or 12-15.
We ask for a £2.00 donation towards transport costs, please attach £2.00 to your box with Sellotape
WE SUPPLY THE BOXES.
Pick up your new boxes and Drop off your filled boxes at the venues below

Christmas Shoeboxes go to children in Romania, Albania, Montenegro, and Moldova. Some boxes will hopefully go to Ukrainian for refugees/displaced children there.

Basingstoke Deane Rotary is a group of 26 men & women from a wide variety of backgrounds. All live locally in the borough but some commute to work outside Basingstoke. Most joined Rotary to help others less fortunate, and they find Basingstoke Deane Rotary adds another extremely enjoyable dimension to their lives.
