Choir’s 60th Anniversary
Our 60th anniversary concert has been and gone and was generally recognised by the ‘sell-out’ crowd to be a great evening. The net proceeds of just over £500 were donated to ‘The Camrose Centre’. Onward to the next 60!
Christmas Concert
We shall be celebrating the festive season with a concert at St Michael’s Church Cottage on December 14th at 7:30 PM. The concert will comprise a varied mix of numbers from our repertoire plus some seasonal favourites. We can’t promise a ‘White Christmas’ but it certainly won’t be a ‘Silent Night’. There will also be opportunity for you to join in and get Christmas off to a good start. There will be ‘Pies and Punch’ at the interval to help you get in the spirit!
Join Us?
Whilst on the subject of ‘joining in’ we are still keen for new members to join us. Singing can be therapeutic as well as fun so why not come along to a rehearsal and experience the atmosphere at first hand!
We rehearse every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm at the Moose Centre. You’re most welcome to come along and listen and, maybe, join us to kick off the next 60 years! If you’re a tenor you’ll be made even more welcome – come on; don’t be shy!
This year, to celebrate our first concert as a 61 year old, we shall supporting Parkinson’s UK. We’d love to see as many of you as possible – entry will cost £10. The details:
