Following a long, and successful, series of monthly on-line presentations on railway subjects the Society has now resumed ‘live’ meetings at the Wote Street Club in the town centre.
Our first meeting was held in September and our bookings secretary is putting together the programme for the rest of this year and into 2022. Our next meetings at the Club, which has a licensed bar, will be at 7.45pm on Wednesdays 13 October and 27 October. The topics for these meetings are not decided at the time of writing, so take a look at our website at www.bdrs70d.com to find out what is planned.
Visitors to our meetings are always welcome at a cost of £5. If you are interested in joining us for talks on a varied range of railway-related subjects, do join the Society. Annual membership costs just £7 and meeting admission fees for members are £3. Details are on the website, or call the Secretary on 01256 331002.
