Bruce Cummings – Researching new Biography

Can you provide information?

I’m currently researching a new biography – in fact the first biography for nearly a hundred years – of the naturalist and author Bruce Cummings, whose ashes are interred in the grounds of St Mary’s Church.

As his daughter Penelope lived in the parish, it’s possible that other family members continue to live there, and it would be wonderful if any of them felt able to share their stories with me.

Of course, I would be happy to guarantee confidentiality to anyone who was prepared to talk to me. The book is a celebration of Cummings’s life, and I would love to be able to pay the fullest possible tribute to him by including anything that isn’t already a part of the public record.
