Domestic Abuse Awareness – Dragonfly Training Session
Become a Dragonfly Champion with this training aimed at increasing awareness of what domestic abuse is and understanding how you can help. This training session will be ran by Paragon here at our Orchard building, and involves supporting victims of domestic abuse, engaging in communities, and raising awareness of domestic abuse. The Orchard 20th Anniversary: 2 Day Celebration
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a 2-day celebration at The Orchard, White Hart Lane, Basingstoke RG21 4AF on Thursday 29 September & Friday 30 September 2022 to celebrate the Orchard’s 20th Anniversary. This is a chance to meet the different charities that work in the local area. This celebration will also be open to anyone and everyone! Those that may wish to find out more about the different charities offering services in Basingstoke, come along. The second day of the 2-day celebration will be a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September that will begin at 10:00am up until early afternoon. To find out more, please CLICK HERE. Emergency First Aid at Work
The course is the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work. The certificate lasts for 3 years and is suitable for anyone who works in an ordinary business setting i.e. office, shop etc. For insurance purposes and Health and Safety this is the minimum requirement. Safeguarding Adults
This is an opportunity to hear from the Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board covering key aspects of the new Safeguarding Concerns guidance. During the interactive safeguarding briefing session, our guest speaker Alison will outline the key aspects of the new Safeguarding Concerns guidance. Defibrillator Training
Would you know what to do if faced with the urgent need to use a defibrillator? Defibrillator are now common place and understanding how they work and the correct way to use them is essential in a cardiac arrest. This short course covers basic life support and CPR in both adults and children and teaches you the science behind the machine.
