Old Basing Village Hall was opened in May 1982 and 37 years later is a key venue for many functions for parishioners as well as people from outside the area. The Hall is a versatile facility, is licensed and has recently had WiFi installed. The Hall is used for Weddings, Children & Adult Parties, Flower Shows, Meetings, Badminton, Table Tennis, Short Mat Bowls, Ballet, Pilates and a Nursery School. The Frank Goddard room is a separate suite with its own private facilities. A Management Committee of volunteers oversees the running of the hall which is self-funding from hiring out and many of the current committee members are from the original committee set up back in 1978.
