The Children’s Society fights for the hope and happiness of young people when it’s threatened by abuse, exploitation and neglect. The national charity supports children and young people affected by those issues and other vulnerable children including young refugees, young carers and those affected by mental ill-health, domestic abuse and substance misuse. The Children’s Society also carries our research and fights campaigns to secure changes to laws and policies affecting children and young people. While an independent charity, The Children’s Society was founded by a Sunday school teacher and still works in partnership with the Church of England where this will help advance support for issues affecting the most vulnerable children and young people.
