On my walk yesterday on the Millfield I came across these two amorous Brown Argus butterflies on some Ragwort flowers. I guess they were glad to be out once again after the recent wind and storms. I have often seen Holly Blue and Common Blue butterflies on this part of the Millfield but I had not seen Brown Argus there myself even though others may have. Great to see the increasing numbers of species on this wonderful local green space. |
