Carol Service

The Friends of St. Michael’s Hospice are holding a carol service on Tuesday 12^th December at all Saints Church, Odiham. Doors open 6.30pm – drinks and canapes.

The Service, commencing 7pm, which will include the Schola Cantorum of Oxford and a reading by Clare Balding, CBE. The Basingstoke Lions Club is devoting an entire evening to the much-loved hits of that era, enabling you to step back in time and relive a musical period that lingers on in the memory. Basingstoke Choral Society

Verdi Requiem

Basingstoke Choral Society will be performing the powerful Verdi Requiem off-score at 3pm on Sunday, 26^th November, in The Anvil, Basingstoke, accompanied by the Docklands Sinfonia and the international soprano soloist Erica Eloff, all under the direction of David Gibson. First performed and conducted by Giuseppe Verdi in Milan in 1874, the Requiem has become one of the most popular choral works performed worldwide including a performance in New York on the 20^th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
