We will begin this month on Wednesday 14 May on our local main line as Neil Drury, Engineering and Infrastructure Manager of South Western Railway, presents The Class 701 'Arterio' Fleet. Neil will examine these new multiple-unit electric trains and explain some of the background to their much-delayed introduction into service.
On Wednesday 28 May, member Paul Gosling will tell us about Gosling's Galavants 2024. Paul will provide one of his inimitable and varied presentations describing where he has been and what he has seen around the UK on his travels in 2024.
Our meetings are at 7.45pm at The Wote Street Club in New Road in Basingstoke town centre, RG21 7NG, which has a licenced bar and usually conclude by 10.00pm.
