It has been quite a long wait this year but finally the local frogs have
started spawning. I think the cold spell a month or so ago set them back a
little.
The pond water was not warm enough until the last few days.
There is a lot of newt activity already so I do not anticipate much of this
spawn if any will become frogs but there will be plenty of newts!
