On Thursday I manage to catch a few shots of the first marbled white butterflies I have seen this summer on the Millfield together with some shots of the Pyramid Orchids which are in flower at the moment. On the same day close to the Thornhill traffic lights in Chineham I spotted this fine Burnet Moth enjoying the thistle flowers and when I got home from my circular walk there was this Male Beautiful Demoiselle on one of my conifers in the back garden. The fine settled weather is obviously playing a part here.
