August 16th – 25th 2025 sees the return of the popular annual Hampshire Open Studios (HOS). During this county wide event, over 300 artists and creators will open the doors to their workshops, studios and galleries to welcome visitors. This is an opportunity for you to see these artisans at work and learn about their creative processes, whilst admiring their original artwork and even purchasing a unique gift. In addition some locations will be offering workshops for you to try your hand at their chosen specialism, plus refreshments.
The local area is a hub for creativity, including but not limited to, specialists in ceramics, stained glass, fused glass, mosaics, paintings, textiles, photography, art groups and more traditional artists. For those wishing to visit a variety of local artists, you can follow the Odiham Villages Art Trail, which covers the picturesque villages of Odiham, Long Sutton, South Warnborough, North Warnborough and Rotherwick, is a good opportunity to visit a number of artists within easy reach of each other. For details of the artists involved please see the map below. In addition to these, there are a number of participants within the Basingstoke and Deane area, so why not make a day of it.
