Chineham and Old Basing NWR meet on the first Monday of the month at 2pm in different houses. We prefer to participate in meetings involving food and drink, or discussions, rather than having an outside speaker. There will be an evening meeting on Monday 11th November, when we participate in the annual NWR National Telephone Quiz. It is always a fun packed evening as we all put our heads together to answer cryptic clues helped along with prosecco provided by our lovely host for the evening, Madeleine.
In December we have our Christmas lunch which this year will be held in the Methodist Church hall, Old Basing. Some of our members meet monthly on the fourth Thursday evening to discuss the chosen book and a monthly lunch is also arranged in a local venue on different days of the week.
