National Women’s Register (NWR) – Make the most of life

National Womens Register LogoMake the most of life and join nearly 5000 others who have discovered the relatively unknown National Women’s Register (NWR).

NWR provides a wide range of talks and activities in small local groups typically less than 20 members. Each is unique, arranging activities and meetings to suit their members. Chineham and Old Basing NWR meets at 2.00pm on the first Monday of the month in each other’s houses. We enjoy getting together to research and talk about different topics.

This month we each took some newspaper cuttings resulting in some very lively discussions on various topics. There is usually a monthly lunch at various local venues on different days of the week, as well as a Book Group which meets at 8.00pm on the 4th Thursday of the month. Last month some members enjoyed a beautiful and enjoyable circular walk from The Leather Bottle, Mattingley followed by lunch.

New members are very welcome. More information about the NWR can be found on their website nwr.org.uk or for an informal chat contact: Dusty Brough 01256 357276 or dmbc861@gmail.com
