Upcoming Basingstoke Railway Society Events
Back in the UK for our two meetings in November. The first, on Wednesday 11th November, will be presented by Jim Clarke who will show pictures and films illustrating The History of 7903 Foremarke Hall and its Restoration.
Then, on Wednesday 25th November, there will be A Visit to the ‘Greatest Gathering’ in Derby presented by our current Programme Organisers, Paul Gosling and Ryan Lamb. The event, at the Derby Works of train builder Alstom in 2025, saw the largest assembly of railway locomotives and rolling stock in recent years celebrating 200 years of the railways as we know them.
Our meetings are held at 7.45pm at The Wote Street Club, which has a licenced bar, in New Road in Basingstoke town centre, RG21 7NG, and visitors are most welcome. More details are on our website at www.bdrs70d.com or call the Secretary on 07837 320790.
