National Women’s register (NWR) – Improve your social life

National Womens Register Logo

Human beings are social animals, and the tenor of someone’s social life is one of the most important influences on their mental and physical health. If you would like to improve your social life then National Women’s Register (NWR) might be for you. It offers friendship and lively discussions. Chineham and Old Basing NWR meet at 2pm on the first Monday of the month. With rarely more than 10 at each meeting, we take it in turns to host. We have a monthly lunch at various local venues on different days and a subgroup which meets at 8pm on the fourth Thursday of the month to discuss a chosen book.

Garden Party

This month we had a Garden Party hosted by one of our members, unfortunately it rained so we were indoors. However that didn’t spoil our fun, there was plenty of Prosecco, wine and delicious food as well as a very interesting talk from a local Health and Fitness Coach on Ageing Well and the importance of exercise and diet.

New members are very welcome. More information about the NWR can be found on their website nwr.org.uk or for an informal chat contact: Dusty Brough 01256 357276 or dmbc861@gmail.com
